Automatic backup bulb changeover
If the main bulb fails, a backup bulb is powered automatically within half a second to ensure continuity of illumination. A bulb failure indicator on the control panel shows that the main bulb has failed and should be replaced.

Outstanding shadow dilution and depth of field
A highly sophisticated reflector with more than 1,000 facets reflects the bulb output through multiple angles creating a virtually shadow-free column of in-focus light.

Minimal laminar-flow interference
The fully sealed light head has been aerodynamically designed to minimize turbulence of laminar-flow sterilization and purification systems.

Accurate colour rendering of cold light beam
The internal optics filter out infrared (heat) and other unwanted wavelengths leaving a cool light beam with a colour temperature close to daylight, so tissue and organ colours are not distorted.

Waterproof membrane control panel
A conveniently placed panel contains on/off controls, a power on indicator, bulb-failure alarms and variable output intensity controls.

Variable focus
The removable, autoclaveable light-head steering handle doubles as a twist-grip focusing control.

Double-walled housing
Ensures that the light-head is robust and stays at a low temperature.

Multi-purpose
Ideal for surgery, ophthalmology, OBS delivery operation, diagnostics and gynaecology. Also suitable for use within casualty departments and intensive care units.

Finely-balanced suspension arms
Multi-jointed, spring-balanced suspension mechanisms permit accurate and stable positioning of the light patch. The arms on ceiling-mounted lights all rotate through 360°.

Video systems and back-up power supplies
CCTV cameras and monitors are available as options on most models, as are wall-mounted battery back-up power supplies.
